Hello.
An explanation is long overdue.
For those who do not know me, or for those who have forgotten, I am the owner of Barely Censored. “Ms. Gladiatrix,” you’ve called me. I was given the privilege of hearing your inquiries and then giving a written response on this page. These responses were, regularly, rude. They contained rhetoric that boosted my viewership, but purely due to its outrageous wording and scandalous opinions.
Am I that same woman? In the sense of behaving in the same way, no. Why? A change of heart and sense of fulfillment. I craved the attention and praise of my readers. Who wouldn’t feel euphoria after having a group of peers speak admiringly of the prose and content? The attention also proved that what I had to say was, in some senses, important. When those would crave my writings, it was as if they were craving what I had to say. This caused the influx and efflux in my frequency of post. The more praise, the more content, and vice versa.
Nowadays, I find fulfillment in those around me. Not just their reactions or opinions, but the people themselves. I have now come to understand that people are not just mindless, senseless, childish beings who are in constant need of assistance and criticism. I also have now come to understand that I, as feeble as I am, am not one to criticize those around me. We all have flaws, some more prominent than others. I am just as flawed as the rest of you. I, most likely, have the most out of you all.
So, to conclude, my rhetoric will thus be changed. Out with the old and in with the new, as they say. This will be healthiest for all of us.
Thank you,
S.
