It’s Not Me, It’s You

Welcome back to another short week here at Barely Censored. Ms. Gladiatrix is here to give her unfiltered advice, commentary, and hot topics on your juicy entries…

Ms. Gladiatrix has a response for one of her recurring viewers. A has sent two, now three, entries to the Barely Censored forum. Now, darlings, you may be thinking: “Three entries? Ms. Gladiatrix, why haven’t you written about them?”

Refer to rule five in submitting a request. You may recall that I choose what sparks a post. Considering A is a frequent flyer at Barely Censored, you think she would know that. Maybe A should consider writing something more interesting. Or maybe A has nothing interesting to write about?

The dilemma in question is: why has Ms. Gladiatrix “thrown aside” A’s entries? A first wrote to Ms. Gladiatrix about her disdain for health class. She claimed that “the work is pointless and prevents [her] from learning anything at all, and the work is so unnecessary” (A). Quite the redundancy with her statements about work, yes? It seems like A just doesn’t like to work. Health class is not the best class at Glenelg, no, but A is being a tad dramatic about the extent of its depravity. Perhaps A just has a productivity problem?

A then wrote about an instance where an administrator berated her class because “the students turned off all off the lights and closed the door, letting the light from the window illuminate the room” (A). In her entry, A acted as though the administrator was in the wrong. A seems to do this a lot; she blames others instead of taking responsibility for her own immaturity. Turning off all the lights and closing the door is stupid, darling. What were you hoping to achieve? Ms. Gladiatrix sides with the administrator.

Conclusion: Ms. Gladiatrix “threw aside” A’s entries because they just were not Barely Censored material, and they were inherently self-centered. A isn’t hankering for an article from Ms. Gladiatrix, no, she’s just wanting validation for her entries. Validation that what she has to say is important. It’s quite sad, really.

What do you think? Is Ms. Gladiatrix justified in her neglect towards A? Submit your questions, concerns, or hot takes on my Spill Here page, and always remember rule five…

You know you love me,

XOXO, Ms. Gladiatrix.
